About Marketdata.ai

Independent software company based in the Netherlands.

We build market data cost management software for teams that have outgrown spreadsheets, email threads, and disconnected exports.

Our story

We started from a simple observation — market data teams spend more time reconciling spreadsheets than improving spend decisions. After two decades in the industry, we built one platform finance, procurement, and market data teams could run day to day, with cost visible everywhere and history worth defending in an audit.

What is Marketdata.ai?

Marketdata.ai helps finance, procurement, and market data teams govern contracts, invoices, allocations, and audit history in one place. It is built for banks, hedge funds, and energy firms that need clearer spend visibility across vendors, users, departments, legal entities, and exchanges without rebuilding the same answers in spreadsheets every month.

Why this category matters

Market data costs are hard to govern because the work crosses contracts, user access, invoices, allocations, and renewal decisions. Most firms still hold that together with spreadsheets and email, which makes cost visibility fragile and audit questions expensive to answer. We built Marketdata.ai to give regulated teams a system they can actually run operations on, not another reporting layer on top of the mess.

What makes us different

Cost visibility first

Marketdata.ai is designed to make spend understandable on every screen, not just in month-end exports.

  • Vendor and product visibility: See what you are paying across vendors, feeds, and internal owners without rebuilding the picture manually.
  • Allocation clarity: Allocate costs across departments, projects, platforms, and legal entities with a record teams can actually review.
  • Multi-currency support: Track contracts in native currency and report them more accurately for finance and procurement.

Workflows that reduce spreadsheet archaeology

Instead of treating contracts, invoices, and supporting documents as separate cleanup projects, we connect them inside one operating workflow.

  • Invoice and document intake: Forward invoices and contracts into the platform for extraction and review instead of chasing PDFs around inboxes.
  • AI-assisted analysis: Use conversational workflows to inspect data, compare records, and surface questions that usually send teams back into spreadsheets.
  • Integration-ready data: Use the API and connected workflows to keep cost governance tied to real operational records.

History you can defend

Regulated teams need more than current-state dashboards. They need to explain what changed, when it changed, and why it changed.

  • Audit-ready records: Keep defensible history for contracts, invoices, allocations, and corrections instead of reconstructing the past from email threads.
  • Finance and renewal support: Give buyers, controllers, and operations leads a clearer basis for renewal reviews and month-end checks.
  • European infrastructure: Keep customer data in Europe with hosting and AI-processing decisions designed to be easy to explain in vendor review. Infrastructure details
